My League Pass 5

Like other people who love the NBA I have League Pass and every year I've had it I've tried to watch every game of 5 teams. This year my teams are:
1. Miami Heat
-They have LeBron therefore they are a must watch.
2. OKC Thunder
-Same as above except replace LeBron with Durant.
3. New Orleans Hornets
-My favorite team and they also have Anthony Davis this year.
4. Minnesota Timberwolves
-My 2nd favorite team and when Kevin Love and Rubio come back one of the more exciting teams to watch.
5. Houston Rockets
-They slid in after trading for James Harden. I haven't been disappointed.
 Other teams that just missed:
LA Lakers -Full of all-stars but I hate them so its tough for me to watch their games.
LA Clippers -Watched a lot of them last year just wasn't that impressed although CP3 is still the best PG in the league.

Stern's Retiring

Commissioner David Stern announced today that he will be retiring in February 2014 and that Adam Silver will be taking his place. To commemorate this moment I give you my favorite Stern moment.

Opening Day!

Anyone else excited for some NBA basketball? Here's a list of the opening day games on October 30th.


Heat vs. Celtics, 8 p.m., TNT
Lakers vs. Mavericks, 10:30 p.m., TNT
Cavaliers vs. Wizards, 7 p.m.

With a Name Like Darko How Can't You Like Him?

This may not be news to some, but Darko Milicic was amnestied by the Minnesota Timberwolves this past week. This probably means he will not be in the league again with little to no interest from the other teams. As an owner of not one but two of his jerseys (Timberwolves and Pistons) this saddens me greatly. I think most Timberwolves fans and basketball minded people would agree that the team is better off without him, but I will still miss him when I go to watch there games or watch the Timberwolves on TV. Here are just a few of my favorite Darko moments that I got to experience:

1. Darko gets drafted and I want to cheer for him because he has an awesome name and he is suppose to be a superior Dirk Nowitzki
2. My first live NBA game is Timberwolves vs Thunder. Durant scores a ton of points but the crowd couldnt get enough of Darko
3. Darko raffles off his NBA Championship ring and belt for charity. And yes I immediately bought ten raffle tickets.
4. I wear a Darko jersey to the Timberwolves vs Clippers game and Darko wins player of the game.
