CBA offer as of Nov 10th.

Here is a leaked copied of the CBA offered to the NBPA. Everything appears to be as reported, with 50/50 BRI split, unlimited Bird rule and amnesty clause. Take what you want from this but it comes out the same night the NBA is publicly promoting this deal via twitter and even released a YouTube video to explain it. Seems like the NBA really wants this deal to get accepted so save a 72 game season.

Almost the NBA

This weekend is the showdown between the Drew and Goodman leagues. With stars like Kevin Durant, Josh Selby, DeMarcus Cousins, Brandon Jennings, James Harden, and Michael Beasley set to play in it, its almost like an NBA game. If anybody knows of a place online or on TV that is going to broadcast it, make sure to comment on this so others can know as well. The best info I can give you is the game is happening August 20 at 6:30 p.m. ET.

UPDATE: Thanks to Cody we have two options for watching the game live. First is http://thebasketballchannel.net/ which will let you watch the game live for $5. They also has full roster for both teams. Your second option is Ustream which will be charging $7 to watch it live.

Dirkopolypse :noun: when Dirk Nowitzki destroys your team/life/dreams, mostly seen in the NBA finals. Ex: LeBron knew the Dirkopolyse was coming in game 6, but could do nothing to stop it.

Who are you? And what have you done with LeBron James?

I have summed up the formula for the Heat to win game 6. LeBron plays good = Heat win. It's that simple. You cannot shoot 11 free throws in a series when you are LeBron. Its super neat that you can get a triple double whenever you want, but no assists or rebounds in the last 5 minutes? That's not the best player on the court. Not sure which LeBron will show up tonight, but someone needs to find the real LeBron, before its to late.

Game 5: Which LeBron?

I think the biggest question on everybody's mind before Game 5 of this year's NBA Finals is what version of LeBron is going to show up. Is it going to be super unstoppable, highlight reel LeBron or stand in the corner, pass as soon as you get the ball LeBron? Being a huge fan of LeBron I hope its the former, and by the looks of this tweet he has plenty of fuel to motivate him. I thought the same thing after Game 3 when his critics were saying he was shrinking from the situation. Tonight may not be only make or break for the teams, but also LeBron's legacy. I guess the only thing to do is to watch and find out.

Matrix is Back

The Matrix was back in full force today. He was tied for the leading scorer on the Mavs with 18 on 9-13 shooting. Not only was his offense impressive on a day when Dirk was off, but he also held Durant to 24 points while having to take 22 shots. The Matrix also guarded Russ and Harden for stretches of the game. If he continues with this impressive play the Mavs will be tough to beat.
